Time Passes Too Fast

I'm getting daily emails about the status of Velocity, so I thought I would post a quick update. Unfortunately, there is not a huge amount to update. My husband is on the mend from his accident, although he still can't really move around much and he still can't work, obviously. Thanks for all the well wishes, they really mean a lot.

I've been trying to work on Velocity every day. It's in the rough draft stages right now. To give you an idea of my process, that means that next it will be a one-pass revision, then a thorough edit, then on to beta readers, then a final edit and polish, once more for typos and grammar errors, and then the book will be published. If it sounds like a lot, it is, but it shouldn't take me more than a few months. Again, I don't want to put a deadline out there because I have no idea what the next few months have in store. We're going to be moving in mid-February and that's all kinds of zaniness in and of itself. But I promise I will keep you guys updated to the best of my ability.

I apologize that it's taking much longer than the original November deadline, but thanks for bearing with me.
