New Gravity Book: Inertia

I've mentioned on Facebook that I was planning on releasing a collection of short stories from the point of view of other characters in the Gravity series. Well, along the way I got really involved in writing it. Since Velocity is still in the works for the time being, I thought I would release the stories as one novella--they really came together. The novella is called Inertia, and it's a 20,000 word collection of short stories from the perspectives of different Gravity characters.

More info:

There are different sides to every story. And the denizens of Hell have more than their fare share to tell. This collection of short stories is from different perspectives of characters in the Gravity series, taking place during the events of Book 1 and 3.

Inertia developed out of short sketches that I made during the writing of the Gravity series to know what the other characters were up to and what their motivations were. Since people often want more light shed on the story, I thought it would be interesting to develop them. We've been limited seeing through Ariel's eyes, and there are just some things she doesn't know about. I've been sort of considering this collection of chapters to be the deleted scenes of the books.

There are some spoilers for Uncertainty and Luminosity in Inertia, but I think it sheds the most light on the happenings in Gravity. If you've just read the books and are going, "Huh?" then read further for some answers. Not to mention spending more time with the characters. I hope you all find it an insightful and entertaining addition to the series.

Content Warning: Recommended for readers 14 and up. This novella contains strong language, drug use, sexuality, and violence. A little less clean than the other books in the series. Not everyone is an angel.

    1. Kindle apps on the phone are sometimes tricky. I might have to send you .epub. See if this helps: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1060241 Let me know if you need me to send you a different format.

  3. Also, I found a better site for adding .mobi files to phones. It's here - http://www.revisedcommonversion.com/blog/add-mobi-file-to-kindle-library Like I said, this is just an experiment. If it doesn't work out and causes too much of a hassle, I'll just put the book back on Amazon. But no harm in trying :)

  5. Hi! "Inertia" sound great! I am about to purchase the Kindle format but won't be able to read until after I've read Book 3.... which I haven't read yet simply because I was hoping to buy it on Smashwords rather than Amazon. I just really like Smashwords :) Are you still planning to release things there?

  11. Hey Abigail,

I was wondering if its possible to be emailed Luminosity as an epub file? They can be opened on iBooks easily via email(the only other choice I have is Smashwords but its still not up there), I'm dying to read it and to know what goes on and I dont see it being on iBooks any time soon (Smashwords arent being very co-operative from what I've heard). I am happy to pay for it too, I just really want to read it lol!
